Joshua Rosenbaum is a Managing Director at UBS Investment Bank in the Global Industrial Group. He originates, structures, and advises on M&A, corporate finance, and capital markets transactions. Previously, he worked at the International Finance Corporation, the direct investment division of the World Bank. He received his AB from Harvard and his MBA with Baker Scholar honors from Harvard Business School. Joshua Pearl is an investment analyst at Brahman Capital Corp. Previously, he structured and executed leveraged loan and high yield bond financings, as well as leveraged buyouts and restructurings as a Director at UBS Investment Bank in Leveraged Finance. Prior to UBS, he worked at Moelis & Company and Deutsche Bank. He received his BS in Business from Indiana University's Kelley School of Business.

I used this along with the CD for doing a DCF valuation for business school. The Notes were very useful in that it functioned as a step by step guide for setting up the spreadsheet. Without this I would have been a bit lost as I have never done a valuation before, and sourcing all the information would have been tedious. It was very handy to have all the information in one location. If we do well in our project, credit goes to this book.
Thhis is a very interesting and useful supplementary issue to the Investment Bankins book by the same authors, which will help you to retain previous knowledge offered by the book in an additional and consistent way. I think both items go perfectly well together.

The book is very long. The notes hit give you a good outline.
The thing I feel not too good about this order is the price. I wish that the price could be reduced a bit more for a Kindle version of this book. I would prefer a PDF version than Kindle version due to its restricted utility. However, it's a good book to have.
Excellent resource for undergrad/MBA students preparing for investment banking interviews. Useful desktop reference materials for m&a and corporate development professionals.
